Service Policies​

These Service Policies govern your use of the website located at https://yoursineducation.org and any related services provided by Yours In Education.


By accessing https://yoursineducation.org, you agree to abide by these service policies and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these service policies, you are prohibited from using or accessing this website or using any other services provided by Yours In Education.


We, Yours In Education, reserve the right to review and amend any of these Service Policies at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these Service Policies will take effect immediately from the date of publication.

In Person Academic Intervention

  1. ​Tutors will be masked for all in person sessions, no exceptions.

  2. All materials will be provided.

  3. We ask that you communicate in advance the need to cancel a session. If your child is feeling unwell, please let us know as soon as possible. (See cancelation policy under Cancelations and Fees.)

  4. In person academic services are available to students in grade K - 8.

  5. In person academic services are available to families in the San Gabriel Valley. 

  6. Students must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian during the time of the session(s).

  7. Results not guaranteed.

 

Online Academic Intervention

  1. ​Zoom Invites will be sent weekly for student login.

  2. All materials will be provided.

  3. We ask that you communicate in advance the need to cancel a session. If your child is feeling unwell, please let us know as soon as possible. (See cancelation policy under Cancelations and Fees.)

  4. Results not guaranteed.

 

In Person Meditation​

  1. Please have your ticket/ your child's ticket ready at the start of class.. 

  2. Student classes are limited to children 17 and under only. 

  3. Students 17 and under will not be permitted to attend adult classes. 

  4. Students 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult and con not be left at the premises unattended during the session. 

  5. Age policy does not apply to family, in home sessions. 

  6. Family, in home meditation sessions are limited to family members living in the residence. 

  7. Results not guaranteed.

 

Zoom Meditation Classes

  1. By agreeing to this service policy, the ticket purchaser agrees not to share invites for purchased zoom sessions.

  2. Only one person/device will be permitted to enter for each email used at time of purchase. 

  3. Student sessions are limited to children 17 and under only. 

  4. Students 17 and under will not be permitted to attend adult sessions. 

  5. Results not guaranteed.

Payments​

  1. The cost for in-person academic tutoring is $50 for the first hour and $25 for each additional hour, weekly. 

  2. Payments for in person academic services are due each Sunday for the coming week. Invoices are to be paid upon receipt by the end of the day.

  3. All meditation sessions and classes tickets are $10 per student under the age of 17 and $12 for adults sessions. Payments for tickets for in person and zoom meditation classes are due at the time of purchase.

  4. Family, in home meditation sessions are $50 for 1 hour. Payment is due prior to sessions. 

  5. Payments are automatically generated by yoursineducation.org.

Cancelations & Fees

  1. Family, in home meditation sessions are non-refundable.

  2. Late payments for in person academic intervention will be charged a $5 late fee for each late payment (Payments made after the Sunday of each sent invoice.) 

  3. Tickets to weekly, in-person meditation classes are non-refundable.

  4. Tickets to weekly, Zoom meditation classes are non-refundable.

  5. Payments for in person or zoom academic intervention are due prior to your child's session. Should your family need to cancel with more than 24 hours notice, you will be credited for the following week. Cancelation of in person tutoring sessions and zoom tutoring sessions with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.

  6. We ask that if your child is sick, please request a zoom session whenever possible. Please request to switch to a Zoom session or cancel if your child or someone in your home has tested positive for Covid-19 or is at risk of testing positive due to exposure.  

  7. Yours In Education reserves the right to rescind tutoring spots for excessive cancelations and absences (1/2 of scheduled sessions missed in a given month).

Photographs & Usage

​

By agreeing to these service terms, I understand that Yours In Education may take still photographs and video during all sessions and classes to be used on social media and in marketing content. I understand that as a parent/guardian of a child under the age of 18, I have the right to request in writing that my child(ren)'s image not be used. Photographs taken by Yours in Education will not be shared or sold to third parties. Names will not be used. I understand I can submit a request to cease use of their image here. 

 

Mandated Reporting

Employees of Yours In Education are mandated reporters. Mandated reporting means the mandatory reporting by any adult professional who works with children. We are legally responsible for reporting suspected or disclosed abuse in any and all circumstances.
